- 54 years in sales – Started selling in college (1 st sales job in 1969)
- Have had jobs selling college campus tours, advertising, office supplies,
printing and typesetting services, large computers for IBM
- Earned IBM’s “Golden Circle” designation for being in the top 5% of IBM’s
International sales force
Sales & Sales Leadership Consulting & Training:
- 40 years as a sales & sales leadership consultant & trainer (Started Jan, 1982)
- 3,500 presentations for over 1,000 clients in 80 different industries
- 90% of clients have used him more than once
- Jokes he’s really big in the HGD industries – “Heavy, Greasy or Dirty”
- Presented for 27 annual conventions of ISSA - the International Sanitary
Supply Association over the last 35 years
- Conducted dealer sales and sales leadership training for Caterpillar Corp for
over 15 years
- Trained over 4,000 John Deere Agricultural & Turf dealer team members in
sales, sales leadership and parts management
- Consulted with the American Institute of Steel Construction immediately
after 9/11 on how to address industry questions on why the Twin Towers
steel collapsed
NSA Career:
- Joined NSA 1981
- 35 years ago earned his CSP – Certified Speaking Professional (1988)
- 26 years ago was inducted into the NSA Speaker Hall of Fame (1997)
- Have presented to numerous NSA workshops & annual conventions,
including the main stage
- Served six years on the NSA National board (1992 - 1998)
- Served as 1997-1998 NSA National Treasurer
- Served as NSA National chair of:

- Workshop Chair
- Co-chaired NSA Convention
- Chair of the CPAE Council
- Served several years as the NSA photographer for our workshops and annual
conventions
NSA-North Texas Chapter – Member 12 years (Since 2011):
- Conducted several years of one-day sales programs for our NSA-NT
members
- Co-chair of NSA-NT Speakers Academy
- Co-chair of NSA-NT Speaker’s Forum (Training webinar series presented to
our chapter, and the rest of NSA during Covid)
NSA Foundation Career:
- Involved over 20 years in NSA Foundation:
- 15 years serving on PSBF committee (Professional Speakers Benefit Fund)
including 5 years PSBF Chair
- Have served on the NSA Foundation Board of Trustees for almost 10 years
including serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the last 3 ½ years

From a business background that includes hands on service, sales, and management experience; and specialized education, including a B.S. in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, an M.L.A. in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary’s University, an MBA in Leadership and Governance from the University of Dallas, and advanced course work and certifications in coaching, governance and strategy, Niki understands the unique issues facing nonprofits, businesses, and speakers today.
