About Ed Rigsbee, CSP, CAE

Ed Rigsbee is one of the very few persons that holds both the (CSP) Certified Speaking Professional credential and the (CAE) Certified Association Executive credential. Having authored books for association executives, and professional speakers, makes him a uniquely qualified subject matter expert on professional speakers selling their services to trade associations and professional societies.

Ed is the President of Rigsbee Enterprises, Inc., established in 1981 and the Executive Director of Cigar PEG, Inc., established in 1999 (an IRS recognized 501 (c)3 non-profit public charity). He has been a professional member of the National Speakers Association since 1988, teaching “How to Sell to Associations” workshops since the mid 1990s, and a CEO member of the American Society of Association Executives since 2008. Ed has traveled to Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, teaching member recruitment, delivering multi-day strategic alliance workshops to eager business leaders and professional development workshops to established and emerging professional speakers.
