About Debbie Barela
Debbie Barela is a Senior Vice President for GDA Speakers. Debbie joined GDA in 2020 amidst, dare we say, an exciting time in the speaking industry. Touching many functions within the organization along the way, she nurtured collaborative client relationships through the waves of change. Debbie emerged with a passion to deliver meaningful, valuable event experiences by aligning the ideal speakers with her clients’ event vision. Today she successfully tends to a variety of client relationships, from small non-profits to large corporations.
Prior to GDA, Debbie spent 5 years with a niche bureau, SPEAK! Franchise Speakers, learning and cultivating a great love for the speaking industry. Debbie is based in Lakewood, Colorado, traveling to GDA’s Dallas office regularly. When not matching speakers with clients, Debbie enjoys outdoor activities, time with family and her rescue dog, Sallie.
