About Tim Durkin, CSP

Tim is an expert in VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) and has a deep understanding about how these conditions impact organizations and individuals. He has been developing leaders and soon-to-be leaders to succeed in a VUCA environment for more than ten years. He also teaches these skills at Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business, Executive Education Department where he also served as Academic Director. 

Keynotes, breakouts, coaching (one on one and group) and training are the four core areas Tim can address. 

Clients and former clients include IBM, ATT, GM, Ford, Exxon, General Electric, Abbot, Alcon. Duke Energy and many others.  For nearly ten years I have specialized in healthcare and have been hired by Johns Hopkins, Parkland, UTSouthwestern, Baylor Scott and White, Adventist, Good Samaritan, and Texas Health Resources and others.

I am a speaker, author, and Certified BBQ Judge.  I also am a 36-time finalist in the Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes. Member of three private clubs Costco, Sams, and American Airlines Advantage. Been speaking since age 18 months much to the chagrin of my family back then. Professionally, I have been speaking and training since 1994.

Hobbies include reading, procrastinating and making sawdust in hopes that a small box, table or cutting board will appear. Tim honed his leadership skills as an infantry platoon sergeant in the Marine Corps and throughout his business career including being COO of The Dallas Market Center.

About Your Host, Niki McCuistion, CSP

As a speaker Niki focuses on leadership and strategy. She has spoken on almost every continent. Niki is a past president of NSA-NT, the 1^st Charbonneau Award recipient and the 1^st woman to chair NSA National's Voices of Experience interview series. 

As the producer/ executive producer of the PBS tv program on KERA PBS, now on the air for 32 years, she has chosen guests for the program and has coached 100’s of heads of states, celebrities and just  plain every day folks on how to  wow audiences.
